One of the best job-search engines I discovered when I started working as an Employment and Training Counselor was Indeed.com. In fact, I have used it extensively on my current job hunt.
Last week, I looked and it was full of mulch. (You know, the stuff that clogs up the lawnmower blades).
Here’s what happened: It started picking up dozens — hundreds, really — of posts from places like Remote Writing Jobs, Remote Sales Jobs, Home Call Center Jobs, etc. You get the idea. The company listed Saratoga Springs, NY, which is in the search area, as a job site, when in fact these are work-from-your-computer jobs. I have even applied for some, but they really get in the way of the regular jobs.
Oh, well, back to Craigslist.
